The Cow’s Husband is a 1931 animated short film from the Talkartoons series.
Bimbo is doing some bullfighting in this movie that is so typical in its gags that center on this game. We have seen these gags so many times before and after this movie that ended up being too familiar and forgettable.
What it did have was a solid soundtrack. I liked that triumphant and fun ending that has a great score. The voice acting, music and overall energy are pretty good. It’s a shame that the plot is so slight and that Bimbo is not all that memorable here.
