Punch Trunk is a 1953 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a typical flick.
A bunch of people start seeing a tiny, five-inch elephant. The film consists of various quick scenes of a person reacting to the elephant in some way or another. Thus, what we end up getting here is a one-joke cartoon that carries the same gag all through the finish line.
Some scenes are quite amusing. The ending and the drunk man scene are fun. Many moments here are definitely entertaining and the short is so well animated and narrated. However, it could get pretty repetitive with similar scene after scene with no new gags introduced anywhere.
Punch Trunk is solid overall, but it only has one gag throughout, which made it repetitive.
