Prince Violent is a 1961 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a very flawed, but fun short.

Bugs Bunny tries to protect a castle by kicking Sam the Terrible out and not letting him back in. Sam then uses an elephant to get in, but of course fails miserably. The elephant character is a lot of fun and the fact that he had a personality of his own was terrific. The gags starring him were the best ones by far here.

But unfortunately Bugs and Sam weren’t used all that well here. Bugs was entirely forgettable and Sam got his moments, but for the most part this adventure of theirs felt like a repeat of previous better entries in the series. The movie looks and sounds great, but the quality of the gags was only okay.
