I Likes Babies and Infinks is a 1937 animated short from Popeye the Sailor series. It is a very forgettable, clichéd entry.

Swee’pea is crying and Bluto and Popeye compete to calm him down. Yes, this entry has all of the elements of a classic Popeye cartoon, but it unfortunately never has anything unique about it and it just becomes a basic Popeye plot with no authenticity whatsoever. It is fun at times and it is solid, but never great.

I Like Babies and Infinks also has a very disappointing use of Swee’pea as he is pretty standard and boring here. And that punch line in the end is so expected that I never really found it exciting or as funny as it thinks it is. Overall, the short is entertaining, but lacks the energy and excitement that the best Popeye shorts possess. So disappointing.
