Lost in Space Season 3 Review
The third season of Lost in Space is a solid conclusion to this show and it just might be its best and most entertaining season.

Everybody gets a happy ending in this final season as expected, but the emotion was quite earned as we’d come to care for these people and what happens to them. Yes, this show isn’t for the hard SF fans nor is it really for many adults out there, but it is absolutely perfect for the young ones and the family values that it instills in them are fantastic.
The character development continues to be the best aspect of this entire show, the one thing that it does so right. I loved Parker Posey here as well, though I preferred her in a more villainous role, but even the remorseful version worked and she really did compensate for everything that she did wrong before.
The relationship between Will and Robot is the heart of this season. It was explored before as well, but here it was in full focus and they were lovely. The entire storyline of robots going against humans and eventually the two learning to co-exist was very well realized and it was the best part of the season plotwise.
The other family members are also solid, but I still found the parents more interesting than the kids themselves who are more forgettable. The others are also uninteresting and the comic reliefs are not my cup of tea. The humor on this show is tiresome and mediocre.

Lost in Space continues to have amazing special effects for a TV show. The robots look terrific while the colorful visuals are frequently outstanding and very pleasing to the eye. The dialogue is very inferior and at times even silly how straightforward it is, but for kids, it is suitable. I just wish that it had more of thematic depth myself.
The third season of Lost in Space ended the show on a solid note. It is an improvement upon both the first and especially the second season. It still has its flaws, but the character development and the VFX are once again the highlights. The ending was also very endearing and fun.
Worst Episodes: Three Little Birds and Contact.
Best Episodes: Final Transmission and Trust.
