Log Jammed is a 1959 animated short film from the Woody Woodpecker series. It is a solid flick.
Woody Woodpecker gets into a fight with a lumberjack in the north woods when the woodchopper chops down Woody’s tree. These movies starring lumberjacks are rare for this series, which is odd as a woodpecker is the main star after all, so they should be more abundant. Although this is not a particularly funny short, it had its solidly amusing moments with that fake crying gag being the best one.
The rest of the short has the two fighting and eventually leading to the time passing until both are very old and are still fighting. That conclusion was quite epic and amusing, but the first half getting there was a bit rough and forgettable. The animation is also only serviceable while the score is not memorable at all.
