Gee Whiz-z-z-z-z-z-z (1956)
Gee Whiz-z-z-z-z-z-z Review
Gee Whiz-z-z-z-z-z-z is a 1956 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a pretty good short.
This is another strong Road Runner outing with a particularly great second half. The first couple of segments aren’t especially exciting, but then the movie shifted gears and became quite great with some instantly classic segments. That Batman outfit was just hilarious how stupid it was and the dumb facial expression of Wile was hilarious while he was flying in it.
The dynamite sequence is also quite strong and the final segment is pretty elaborate and very well executed throughout. The animation is also fabulous and both characters are highly memorable here. The best part of the flick has to be that ending. He asked for the animators to not show his final landing and they actually listened to the guy and gave him an iris out before he hit the ground. It was funny and lovely.
