Drip Dippy Donald is a 1948 animated short film produced by Disney. It is a pretty standard flick.
Donald’s sleep is interrupted by his constantly dripping kitchen faucet. This is one of those Donald Duck movies where he is constantly frustrated with a very annoying object of sorts, this time a faucet. The animation is stellar here, I loved the nighttime atmosphere and Donald is reliably amusing and fun.
But the movie lacked originality as we’ve seen stuff like this many times before and done better. a couple of scenarios were imaginative, but most were honestly standard gags that felt familiar and uninspired. The movie flows well and is reasonably diverting, but it simply failed to make me laugh.
