Dragon Around (1954)

Dragon Around Review
Dragon Around is a 1954 animated short film produced by Disney. It’s a pretty good flick.
Donald drives a steam shovel with which he tries to cut down Chip and Dale’s tree, who mistake the steam shovel for a dragon. This is a very cozy flick that features wonderful animation, strong sound and a pretty good use of its forest setting. The movie is not all that funny honestly and it could have used better gags, but the premise itself worked and Donald was quite good.
The highlights are Chip and Dale themselves. Fighting Donald with numerous crazy tactics made for such a fun cartoon with the highlight being them cosplaying as a horse and a horse rider. The fairy tale elements here were quite charming. The duo being eco terrorists basically fits them like a glove.
