Disney Princess Enchanted Tales Movie Review
Disney Princess Enchanted Tales is a 2007 direct-to-video animated musical film from Disneytoon Studios. It’s the studio’s worst movie.

“What a mess, what am I going to do with all these cows?“

Yes, it actually happened. The studio produced an even worse film than was ‘Belle’s Magical World’. Unlike that film, this one tries to include two Disney Princesses in one film and what Aurora has to do with Jasmine is beyond me. One is a Golden Age princess while the other is a Renaissance gal and they couldn’t be more different. Thus, their sections felt too disparate and disconnected from each other.
Both are terrible, let’s be clear here. Keys to the Kingdom tries to develop the Aurora character more, but most of the other personalities were not all that well used unfortunately. The entire storyline is so slim and so dull. It never made me care about any of it as it was so mundane.
Pretty much the same can be said for More Than a Peacock Princess. This Jasmine story is really not worthy of her. She gets to school some kids and that is supposed to be a feminist, daring job for this princess?! Are you kidding me? The movie makes these iconic characters do some meaningless chores and jobs that literally any child out there could have come up with a better storyline and goal for these two.
The only redeemable thing about this film is the soundtrack and even that ain’t all that great. I found all three songs forgettable, but they did feel somewhat grandiose and well sung. They were certainly the biggest and most cinematic moments in an otherwise terribly shot and animated flick.

The animation in Disney Princess Enchanted Tales is horrendous and the same goes for the character designs that are really messy and just bad. I also found the dialogue atrocious and the movie’s entire tone is very childish to the point that only those kids below the age of six can enjoy this travesty of a movie and even they deserve better in my opinion.
