South Park (Not Suitable for Children) Review
South Park (Not Suitable for Children) is a 2023 animated television special that is the sixth South Park special overall. It’s a great one.

“I got cred, bitches!“

The only issue here is that Parker and Stone continue to push Randy as the protagonist, which negatively impacts the other characters, especially the kids. The two storylines only barely connected toward the end, which was definitely a problem. Still though, I loved both subplots, so I ultimately really enjoyed this special.
The Randy subplot parodied OnlyFans to such amusing results. Whenever the show gets to focus on the crazy, odd marriage between Sharon and Randy, it’s off to a great start, and sure enough the two competing on this adult service was hilarious. The fact that he would be okay with his wife being on OnlyFans, but would see her as competition is very Randy and all of it was very funny.
But the highlight is the kids being obsessed with this new beverage called Cred. It is, well, supposed to give them some school cred. It was a great idea for this special to poke fun at Logan Paul and other influencers and showcase the dangers of manipulating children and selling them terrible product.
Cartman was so much fun here, though I needed more of him at the end of the day. But he was still hilarious and his line about the group being white, so they cannot be proud of themselves was the comedic highlight for sure. Butters was also very entertaining in this special and quite feisty.

But this was mostly Clyde’s moment to shine, which is exactly what he did. By focusing on his home life and not just school life, the series depicted his struggles with having a step mom and it was done in a caring and funny way simultaneously. It was a great arc for him and I wish that Parker and Stone focus more on the kids and not just Randy all the time.
