8 Ball Bunny Review

8 Ball Bunny is a 1950 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is such a flawed, but solid flick.

First and foremost, Playboy Penguin returns in this installment and I loved him once again. He’s so cute and sadly hopeless, and Bugs is as his most compassionate when around him which is wonderful to witness. However, this whole movie is never as good as ‘Frigid Hare’ was owing to its very odd plot.

Bugs is fine, though a bit too maniacal, but again compassionate and fun. Bogart appears regularly here asking for money and it was amusing, but repetitive. The adventure elements most definitely worked, but the various weird segments such as for example that cannibal part really brought the whole film down a notch for me.

8 Ball Bunny has its weird scenes and it is uneven overall, but the penguin is as cute as always. Bugs is very sweet when with he’s with him.
