Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs the Reverend is a 2020 interactive special for this sitcom that serves as the final adventure for these characters.

In this special, Kimmy and Titus must find the Reverend as he has escaped prison and is on his way to find another bunker where he captured even more women. This is first and foremost an interactive special, meaning that it plays out like a mix between a video game and a television show. It’s a formula that is still way too difficult to execute with current technology, but here they approached it differently.
Unlike another special from the ‘Black Mirror’ show, this one is altogether vastly different in that you still only have one possible outcome, but it is approached in such a way that is very comedic, making fun of you as you make deliberately bad choices throughout. The choices make you choose what is good and right for your heroes based on their own personalities and character arc, so at least this approach mostly managed to compensate for the lack of truly present choices and different outcomes.
The highlight for me was Titus as he himself fit this format particularly with ease. The choice where he had to disregard the woodland banquet was simply hilarious and the actor killed it in this special once again. He is so great, in fact, that Kimmy was much less memorable as a result, though Ellie Kemper is per usual excellent. Daniel Radcliffe as her boyfriend was a pretty fun choice, but they didn’t go anywhere with the two unfortunately.

I simply found the whole storyline not all that interesting, though it was pleasantly absurd and goofy in the signature Kimmy Schmidt manner. The bunker conclusion was fun and that whole bit with the Reverend was hilarious. The prison scene with him was even funnier. I just wish Lillian and Jacqueline had a better and more substantial storyline, but everybody was still pretty good and memorable while the special was also quickly paced and hugely entertaining.
