Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure Movie Review
Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure is a 2009 animated film from Disneytoon Studios that is the sequel to the 2008 original. It’s another very mediocre movie.

“The greatest treasures are not gold, nor jewels, nor works of art.
They cannot be held in your hands. They’re held within your heart.
For worldly things will fade away as seasons come and go“

Tinker Bell sets out on a magical adventure beyond Pixie Hollow to find the magic mirror which will help her repair the moonstone that she accidentally broke. That is the premise behind this sequel that clearly is somewhat of an improvement upon the first movie as it’s more adventurous at least, but I still did not care for it.
I am mainly not the demographic for this franchise that is pretty much just intended for young girls. There are the Disney Princess movies that are for girls, but also for everybody really as the magical elements and songs and characters are truly amazing and relatable to anyone, but here none of it is true.
The soundtrack is your typical pop modern soundtrack that has no personality to it whatsoever and is so bland and utterly forgettable. So the music is out of the picture. What about the characters? Tink is okay herself, but the new character Terence is far from memorable and others fare even worse.
The animation is definitely an improvement upon the predecessor, but only slightly as still the CGI feels very dated for today’s standards and rather cheap if you ask me. I did not care for the characters and the whole movie was badly paced and uneventful with a few fun adventurous and magical elements here and there, but certainly nowhere near enough as you would expect from Disney.
