Therapeutic Pink is a 1977 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
The Pink Panther tries to get a dog removed from his tail at the hospital. This is the last cartoon in the Pink Panther series and it was disappointing. It’s solid, but far from great. The premise had some potential, but ultimately it went nowhere, and when they moved away from it, that is when the movie was more fun.
The dog on the tail was fine for some scenes, but not the whole movie. Thus, the second act was quite inferior and repetitive here. However, the movie ended on a really strong note with the entire hospital sequence being the highlight and that cake scene was a silly, fun way to end the entire flick. Pink is quite good here, but he needed more characters to interact with.
