The Pink Blueprint (1966)
The Pink Blueprint Review
The Pink Blueprint is a 1966 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
Finally, we get a Little Man appearance after a long time of his absence. And it’s a good, though not great entry owing to not as memorable situations as one could want from this pairing. But still there are some great moments here such as the ending twist which is fabulously revealed and a perfect finale for sure.
I loved the animation which is great per usual as the pink and blue colors are beautifully contrasted and utilized in terms of storytelling. The Little Man is a lot of fun and the same goes for the protagonist. Some of the middle section isn’t the greatest, but the first and third act are the best parts undoubtedly. It deserved its Oscar nomination in my book.
The Pink Blueprint is a pretty good Oscar nominee and Pink Panther entry that finally gives us another turn from the great Little Man.
