Tale of Two Mice is a 1945 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a weaker entry.
One mouse makes the other go search for cheese, but he has to avoid the cat of course. In the final scene, he brings him Swiss cheese which he doesn’t like, so fed up with it, he makes him eat that cheese forcefully. I loved that ending, that was great and a fitting conclusion comedy-wise. I also liked the voice acting here as well as the overall premise.
However, what I didn’t like is the animation which is rather subpar and forgettable here and the overall characterization could have been better as both Abbott and Costello are much more memorable and they needed bigger personalities as mice. The cat’s forgettable too and the action is mostly your run-of-the-mill cartoon chase after chase.
Tale of Two Mice definitely doesn’t have a strong animation or action, but at least the voice acting is good and the ending’s great.
