Rabid Rider is a 2010 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series.

Wile E. Coyote once again tries to ensnare his long-time adversary, the Road Runner. He devises various attempts of capture with the aid of various gadgets. My main issue with this short is that its gadgetry was simply not interesting. It tried to include so many different vehicles and technological items, but none of them were at all memorable.

The ending was also forgettable and the gags were not funny at all. This is the weakest of the Road Runner shorts that Matthew O’Callaghan directed in 2010. It is well animated for sure and the score is pretty good, but these three-minute shorts really need to have some truly memorable gags to impress viewers with this one having none.

Rabid Rider has an overreliance on gadgetry and those of forgettable variety. It’s a lackluster movie that is the weakest of the Road Runner shorts from this period.
