Psychedelic Pink (1968)
Psychedelic Pink Review
Psychedelic Pink is a 1968 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
The Pink Panther visits a psychedelic bookshop owned by the Little Man where things are surreal and strange. I found the Little Man’s role here too small. He did make an impact, but I wanted an even bigger presence from him. The movie overall is a bit rushed, but it works in concept alone.
Pink has never been in such a crazy, drug-fueled world before, and the results are stellar. The movie definitely makes the most out of this world with gorgeous animation, some very artistic moments and a very strong score. The atmosphere is very psychedelic which fits its title so well.
Psychedelic Pink is a very artistic, very imaginative movie fueled by creative, powerful animation.
