Psst Pink is a 1971 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
While changing his car’s tire, the Pink Panther loses his spare tire and chases after it. This premise is so weak that even after all this time, I would expect something stronger out of this series. Yes, the animation is definitely nice and the music is reliably great as is its signature atmosphere, but even though the premise fits the series, it’s dull.
It’s anticlimactic and a tire as this inanimate object is simply too much of a boring object for a freaking cartoon that should be fun and exciting. The movie could never overcome that issue, no matter how well it tried to execute some action scenes. Pink is also not that memorable this time around.
Psst Pink has a solid atmosphere, but the premise is too weak for a Pink Panther cartoon.
