Prefabricated Pink (1967)
Prefabricated Pink Review
Prefabricated Pink is a 1967 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
The Pink Panther decides to get a job at a construction site, but wreaks havoc across the site instead. This is a terrific premise, and a particularly great setting for this series. I personally wanted a longer runtime, but what we got was so great. The construction site was utilized to the fullest degree, especially in that epic, action-oriented spectacle finale.
I loved Pink here, and the Little Man being annoyed was super fun to watch. I did wonder why there are so many of these men and what they represent, but that choice led to a very authentic world, and a lot of great scenarios played out. The animation here is particularly superb, and the action is so well executed across the board.
Prefabricated Pink is so well animated and particularly strong in its action that makes use of its setting superbly.
