Pinto Pink is a 1967 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
The Pink Panther has a long journey home and tries to tame a horse to ride back, but the horse is not willing to cooperate. It’s a terrific premise for this particular series which is at its best when the panther is being frustrated by something or someone. That is the next best scenario after the Little Man of course.
Although not really utilizing on its premise to the fullest extent as the situations are amusing, but hardly funny or truly memorable, Pinto Pink is still a pretty good entry in the series which benefits from very nice animation per usual, and a fantastic horse character who is hilarious in his whining and making fun of Pink.
Pinto Pink is a very strong short which looks good and is powered by a fine premise and a funny horse character.
