Pink Panzer Review
Pink Panzer is a 1965 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
A narrator tries to put the panther against his neighbor through narration over some unreturned tools. Eventually, he is revealed to be a devil. I liked that revelation quite a bit, and the narration itself is phenomenal and very villainy is this voice. I really liked the narrator and his sense of fun and cartoonish evil shenanigans.
However, the movie thus really sidelines the Pink Panther character, and I personally have never been the biggest fan of these flicks where he is reduced to so little screen time or actually plot development or personality. He is just a pawn in the devil’s scheme here which was very frustrating to witness.
Pink Panzer is great in narration and the twist revelation, but in the process it sidelines the protagonist way too much for my liking.
