Pink Panic (1967)
Pink Panic Review
Pink Panic is a 1967 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
Pink Panther visits a haunted hotel where a ghost harasses him and chases him to no end. Personally, this short is one of the better ones, but still it could have been much greater had it had more memorable, funny moments and a longer runtime for sure.
But it’s still very good. The animation is terrific, the imagery is great and this setting is so well utilized and original for the series. I loved that ghost and his movements, I really liked a lot of the amusing situations here and of course the short is very atmospheric and phenomenally scored per usual. The atmosphere is the most shining aspect here undoubtedly.
Pink Panic could have been greater, but the animation is great, the setting is well utilized and the film is pretty different for the series.
