Pink Ice Review
Pink Ice is a 1965 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
The Pink Panther attempts to recover diamonds stolen from two thieves in South Africa. Yes, I appreciated the different location, that was interesting. I also really liked its amusing ending, and the animation is very good here. But pretty much everything else is unfortunately rather subpar.
I am getting tired of these shorts where the panther speaks. I find it unnatural and frankly stupid as the character is best left off as silent. The entire story is been there, done that. Even the characters are very familiar. I would like the series to return to its roots and its classic formula soon.
Pink Ice has a good finale and fine animation, but the story is very familiar as are its typical characters.
