Lucky Pink (1968)
Lucky Pink Review
Lucky Pink is a 1968 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
Ever eager to help, the Pink Panther keeps returning a “lucky” horseshoe to its owner, a bank robber. However, the horseshoe keeps bringing incredibly bad luck to the crook by continually attracting the police. The fact that this robber is The Little Man made this film so good as it features a terrific, classic dynamic between the two, but in a different scenario and role-play which I loved.
The whole film isn’t great as this type of scenario required a more inventive, funnier execution, but the ending is particularly strong and Pink is terrific here. So is the man who is quite amusing throughout. I also really appreciated the atmospheric thrills that can be found in its stellar animation.
Lucky Pink is a very good Pink Panther entry owing to its terrific premise very well utilized.
