It’s Pink, But Is It Mink? Review

It’s Pink, But Is It Mink? is a 1975 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.

Jane sends Tarzan (the Little Man) to catch the Pink Panther so she can make pink clothing from his fur. I loved this premise, though the execution was far from perfect. The movie’s ending should have been stronger, but the scenario with the drapes was absolutely hilarious. I just loved the Little Man’s wife here as she was so funny.

The animation is great and most of the scenarios here are quite interesting. The Little Man is so amusing here and Pink is quite clever. I particularly liked the first half of this movie along with that drapes scene, but more should have been done with this great premise. Still, it’s a very strong movie and one of the best in quite a while.

It’s Pink, But Is It Mink? has a great premise, and although it could have been better, it’s still a very entertaining movie with some great character work.
