House Hunting Mice Review
House Hunting Mice is a 1947 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a weaker cartoon.
It follows a mouse duo battling house appliances which basically turn into robots of sorts in this quite uninspired film. Yes, we did not see this robotic angle on this kind of cartoon before, but other than that, the action is forgettable and the entire short lacks any sort of momentum to it.
I did like the mouse duo, they are fun and cute for sure. And the animation of the appliances was pretty good with solid, polished movements in action. But overall, that action needed to have been better and the movie is not particularly entertaining when all is said and done. It’s okay and serviceable, but overly old-fashioned in approach and execution.
House Hunting Mice has solid characters, but it needed better action and humor for sure.
