Hare Conditioned is a 1945 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a pretty good Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Good, but not great. Certainly not as great as I’d come to expect from the character. I found some of their chases uninspired and overall Bugs wasn’t as amazing as he usually is, though he’s still very good. Some scenes here are inferior, but some are excellent such as that ending chase which is quite memorable.

I also really liked the cross-dressing scene as all of such Bugs scenes are usually superb. The store manager character is interesting, especially in his striking character design, but he wasn’t really that great of a rival to Bugs, though they do share some great moments here and there. I personally still prefer when they do just Elmer and Bugs.

Hare Conditioned has its moments and is overall quite entertaining, but it’s not as great as the character deserves.
