G.I. Pink (1968)
G.I. Pink Review
G.I. Pink is a 1968 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
Pink joins the army in this military cartoon. The Little Man is also there, acting as a sergeant. Of course, hilarity ensues as the panther makes him so angry with his standard shenanigans. For such a cool concept, this movie unfortunately did not explore it all that well. I personally found the humor here lackluster.
But some scenes are pretty good, the entire third act is very strong, and the highlight here is seeing The Little Man get so annoyed by Pink. The animation is so strong, and the setting is mostly well utilized. The overall film is solid, but I would prefer for the series to go back to the house setting myself.
G.I. Pink lacks in terms of the humor, but it is well animated and The Little Man himself is so good here.
