Beau Tie is so much fun as Dexter tries to befriend Dee Dee’s new boyfriend who’s also smart. A great concept for sure. Remember Me? is forgettable though, but Overlabbing is a fun Mandark installment. Sis-Tem Error is pretty solid and a fine emphasis on the sister, Bad Cable Manners is so funny with Dexter’s dad getting another great role and Dexter’s Library is so good with the line about books and punishment being so funny and true to character.

The Scrying Game is pretty good and interesting, Monstrosi-Dee Dee is a forgettable creature segment and Dad Man Walking is great and with terrific inventions and again a great use of his dad. Dexter’s Little Dilemma is incredibly original in premise and highly rewarding in terms of meticulous detail, Faux Chapeau is entirely forgettable unfortunately and D2 is a good emphasis on the sibling bond between the two.

Head Band is such a phenomenal segment which is catchy in its music and so entertaining. Stuffed Animal House is a so-so Dee Dee story and Used Ink is one fine Mandark story as his every story almost is. School Girl Crushed is a terrific Mandark/Dexter team up segment, Chess Mom features Dexter’s mom at her most likable and goofy whereas Father Knows Least isn’t the most memorable dad episode out there.

Dexter the Barbarian is fine for what it is which is a fun comic-book style episode, but both Tuber Time and Sore Eye are too forgettable. Babe Sitter is a lot of fun, Mountain Mandark not so much and 2Geniuses 2Gether 4Ever is actually a terrific segment from this episode which focuses on Mandark and Dexter in a different, more comedic ad goofy manner than usual. Height Unseen and Bygone Errors are both overly familiar in storylines, but Folly Calls has its moments.

Voice Over is pretty inventive, fast paced and risqué. The Blonde Leading the Blonde is a lot of fun as he finally gets to enjoy himself for a while, but Comic Stripper is not the best Mandark story out there. Tee Party is uninspired, Dexter’s Wacky Races is fun, though overlong.

The Lab of Tomorrow is a detour, Chicken Scratch is not great and Garage Sale is solid, if not great. They Got Chops, Poetic Injustice and Comedy of Feathers are all weak. Yes, the last two episodes are somewhat weak.

Overall, I really liked this season and it’s another very good one leading to the show with all four seasons being pretty good and never dwindling in quality. I am going to miss Dexter as this show is truly one of 90s finest animated series.

Worst Episodes: The Lab of Tomorrow; Chicken Scratch; Garage Sale and They Got Chops; Poetic Injustice; Comedy of Feathers.
