Daffy Duck Slept Here (1948)
Daffy Duck Slept Here Review
Daffy Duck Slept Here is a 1948 animated short film from the Merry Melodies series. It is a very amusing cartoon.
Porky stays in a hotel for the night, but he shares a bed with Daffy who annoys him to no end. Eventually, he throws him away, but the duck organizes a revenge where he makes the pig think that it’s day already so he leaves for “the train”, but the train actually appeared which was the most ridiculous moment in this cartoon which Daffy himself commented upon in hilarious fashion.
This film is very good across the board, but it isn’t excellent as it could have been even funnier as most of the cartoon is amusing enough, but rarely as hilarious as it could have been. I personally really liked that buenas noches moment, that was so funny. Porky is excellent here and Daffy has many very memorable lines of dialogue.
Daffy Duck Slept Here is a very entertaining cartoon with terrific interactions between Daffy Duck and Porky Pig.
