Clippety Clobbered is a 1966 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a very weak short.

Wile E. Coyote uses a chemistry set to try and catch the Road Runner. He mixes chemicals to yield invisible paint. This short focused extensively on the coyote’s chemical experimentations. Some of them were interesting, but for the most part not a lot of ingenuity was present in these scenarios.

The animation, score and overall direction and pacing are quite subpar. The final sequence with the tunnel trick by the Road Runner was terrific, but it was basically repeated from previous shorts, thus constituting filler material. This truly was a very dark era for Looney Tunes cartoons.

Clippety Clobbered is interesting in its emphasis on chemistry, but the execution is very subpar with most scenarios being inferior and the final section is just filler.
