Billion Dollar Boner (1960)

Billion Dollar Boner Review
Billion Dollar Boner is a 1960 animated short film from the Woody Woodpecker series. It is a fine flick.
On a quiet and peaceful street, the serenity of one house is suddenly disturbed by the noise of Woody Woodpecker pecking away inside. This movie brought back a human for Woody to fight with, which was a great choice. This dynamic between this poor, annoyed man and Woody was quite fun. A couple of gags worked and the energy was palpable in its execution.
But the movie mostly failed to be memorable in its routine scenarios, tiresome plot and forgettable humorous situations. Woody continues to be a lackluster version of himself and he was simply much more memorable when he was more insane. I wished for that iteration to return.
