Corn Chips Review

Corn Chips is a 1951 animated short film produced by Disney. It’s a pretty good flick.

Chip and Dale steal the popcorn that Donald has made in this wonderful film that makes great use of my favorite snack. I loved the first gag that the two cannot bite raw corn and the final scene was a delight. It was cartoony and over-the-top in the best way possible. The middle section was the least memorable one, though it still flowed well.

Corn Chips is gorgeously animated. I loved the tree, the house and the popcorn and how well all of those looked. Donald isn’t as memorable this time around, but Chip and Dale are as mischievous as ever. The movie is a blast to watch and it has that cozy atmosphere to it that really appealed to me.

Corn Chips has strong animation and a fun premise. It has its flaws, but it’s mostly a delightful short and among the better ones starring Chip and Dale.
