Caveman Inki (1950)
Caveman Inki Review
Caveman Inki is a 1950 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is such a charming flick.
This is unfortunately the last appearance of Inki which is such a shame, but at least he left on a great note. In this prehistoric short filled with dinosaurs and saber-toothed tigers, he gets mixed up with one lion and of course the Minah bird. It is overly frenetic in action in pace, but it’s fun throughout.
The odd designs are problematic, but overall the animation is colorful and endearing. I loved how well utilized its setting was and Inki is wonderful here with that lion also being quite memorable. Minah bird again steals the show with a terrific music cue every time.
Caveman Inki is too fast in pace and action, but very fun, charming and it serves as a strong final outing for Inki’s character.
